Bidding Terms
Official Bidding Terms & Conditions
1. Reserve Price
This auction has a confidential reserve price, which is the minimum amount Bald Eagle Barns will accept for the building. The exact reserve amount will not be publicly disclosed. If the highest qualifying bid does not meet the reserve, Bald Eagle Barns is not obligated to sell the building.
2. Live Competitive Bidding
This is a live online auction. Bidders may submit competing bids until the auction closes. The current highest bid and minimum required bid are displayed through the auction system.
All bids must meet the minimum increment established by the auction platform. A submitted bid may be exceeded by another eligible bidder before the auction ends.
3. Auction Closing Time
The auction closes at the date and time displayed in the live auction countdown. All times are Central Time. Bids received after the auction has officially closed will not be accepted.
4. Winning Bidder
When the auction closes, the highest eligible bidder whose bid meets or exceeds the reserve price will be the winning bidder, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these terms.
Bald Eagle Barns will contact the winning bidder using the contact information provided.
5. Five-Business-Day Response Window
The winning bidder must respond within five business days after receiving notification from Bald Eagle Barns.
If the winning bidder fails to respond within that period or declines to complete the purchase, Bald Eagle Barns may offer the building to the next eligible bidder, if appropriate, or end the auction without a sale.
6. Deposit and Final Payment
A deposit equal to 10% of the winning bid is required when the winning bidder confirms their decision to purchase the building.
The deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before delivery. Accepted payment methods are cash, check, or money order, subject to payment verification.
Credit card payments are not accepted.
Applicable sales tax and any disclosed additional delivery or site-related charges are separate from the winning bid.
7. Cash Purchase Only
Auction purchases are cash sales only. Rent-to-own and financing are not available for the winning auction bid.
8. Bidder Eligibility
Both new and existing Bald Eagle Barns customers are welcome to participate.
Members and employees of Bald Eagle Barns, LLC, participating dealers, their immediate family members, and members of their households are not eligible to bid.
9. Bidder Information and Verification
Bidders must provide accurate contact information when requested by the auction system or Bald Eagle Barns.
Bald Eagle Barns may require additional identity or contact verification before confirming the winning bidder.
Fraudulent bids, false information, unauthorized bidding, or attempts to manipulate auction pricing may result in disqualification.
10. Building Inspection and Condition
Bidders are encouraged to review all available photographs, specifications, and descriptions carefully before bidding.
Customers may contact Bald Eagle Barns to arrange an inspection of the building before the auction closes.
The building will be sold in its disclosed condition, subject to the applicable written warranties and any representations expressly included in the final purchase agreement.
11. Delivery and Setup
Free delivery and standard setup are available within 50 miles of an eligible Bald Eagle Barns dealer, subject to site accessibility and standard delivery requirements.
Additional mileage, site preparation, equipment, or other special delivery requirements may result in additional charges. Any such charges will be disclosed before the buyer confirms the purchase.
12. Tied Bids and Auction Records
Bids are recorded electronically by the auction system.
If identical qualifying bids are accepted, the earliest valid bid recorded by the system will receive priority, subject to the platform’s bidding rules.
13. Auction Integrity and Technical Issues
Bald Eagle Barns reserves the right to review potentially fraudulent, erroneous, or unauthorized bids and to disqualify bids that violate these terms.
If a significant technical issue affects the fairness or operation of the auction, Bald Eagle Barns may temporarily suspend bidding, extend the auction, or cancel the affected auction. Material changes will be communicated to affected bidders.
14. Changes or Cancellation
Bald Eagle Barns may modify or cancel the auction before bidding begins. Once bidding has started, changes will be limited to circumstances permitted by applicable law and these published terms, including fraud, material errors, or technical failures.
Any material change affecting existing bidders will be communicated to those bidders.
15. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a bid, participants acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to these bidding terms and conditions.
A winning bid is subject to the auction’s reserve, bidder verification, and completion of the required purchase and payment process.
